The laboratory performs testing of welding connections, casts, forgings, and other metal products needed in the manufacture and repair of high risk equipment and other metal structures.
In the laboratory, highly qualified specialists operate, who are certified in accordance with the requirements of EN 473. The following testing methods are implemented:
•    Spectrometry for the determination of alloying elements
•    Thickness gauging of metal products
•    Ultrasonic testing for the detection of bubbles, gas- and air pockets, slag inclusions, and other imperfections
•    Visual inspection for the assessment and determination of imperfections
•    Radio autographic testing for the detection of imperfections in welding connections.
